Funeral services for Chester Gingerich were held Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Jonas Hostetler residence in Jamesport. Burial was in Meadow View Cemetery of Jamesport, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany.

Chester J. Gingerich, 48, Jamesport, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.
He was born June 22, 1961, in Jamesport, the son of Joe and Lydia (Detweiler) Gingerich.
On Sept. 30, 1982, he married Wilma Hostetler. She survives at the home.
Mr. Gingerich was the owner of CJ Construction and a member of the Old Order Amish of Jamesport.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Rebecca; and his son, Perry, who died in the same accident.
Other survivors include his children, Christopher Lynn Gingerich, Steven Joe Gingerich and Rosanna Kay Beechy, all of Jamesport; his parents, Joe and Lydia Gingerich of Jamesport; four sisters, Lena, Martha, Lizzie Ann and Naomi; four brothers, Freeman, Eli Ray, Danny Joe and John Henry; and three grandchildren.
