The various veterans organizations such as Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States and the American Legion from time to time have their service officers join together and present workshops to aid veterans to file for benefits available to them and their families.

Such a workshop is planned to be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Trenton Hy Vee Store on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Veterans are asked to bring their discharge papers, DD-214 or equivalent or evidence of current service.
