Energy conservation is focus of upcoming workshop

The workshop, which is open to the general public, will offer free and low cost tips and tricks you can really use for saving energy and lowering your overall utility bill. Take home kits will be distributed at the end of the three hour workshop. Each kit includes items that can be used for weatherizing your home, such as foam spray, outlet gaskets, door sweeps, pipe wrap, CFL light bulbs, caulking, and a power strip.

Participants should register early, as space is limited. Those with questions or those wishing to register for the workshop are encouraged to call the Green Hills Community Action Agency Daviess County Service Center at 660-663-3211.
