City releases appraised value of factory building

The Pattonsburg Board of Aldermen held a special meeting on Oct. 6, in order to get a vote of approval on releasing the appraisal value of the industrial building to the public.

On Sept. 15, the city had the 30,000 square foot building, located on Lot B Morris Addition, appraised by a licensed appraiser. The appraisal value was $650,000.

Those in attendance at the meeting were Mayor Gene Walker; board members, Leonard Barr and Tracy Parton; Water Superintendent Lonnie Luke and City Clerk Karen Shepherd.
