Smith, who shot a round of 58 in the Grand River Conference Golf Tournament held in Maysville, just missed an all-conference award handed out to the top ten finishers in the meet. Smith competed in the event, along with teammate Mattie Burge, who shot a 65.
Maysville, on the strength of four top ten scores, edged Hamilton, 216 to 217, for the team title. South Harrison produced the top two individual scores from Kayla Chambers, 44, and Alyssa Bugbee, 49.
Other all-GRC golf honors fell to Kay Webber, Maysville, 50; Lindsey Finch, Hamilton, 50; Alexi Hahn, Worth County, 51; Jessica Bird, Maysville, 51; Jordan Bryant, Hamilton, 53; McKenzie Hutchcraft, Stanberry, 53; Karen Hogan, Maysville, 53; Shelby Wolfe, Maysville 55; and Laura Wick, Hamilton, 55.
