Hello.
We would like to start by telling everyone about our past week’s events.
Sept. 25 we put together a float for the homecoming parade. Several of our residents were in the parade, including Esther Miller, Sandra Hogan, Mae Baker, Nina Pittsenbarger, Winifred Hoskin and her daughter Jean. Our residents really enjoyed themselves.
Sept. 29 was our chili cook off. Dr. Neely was one of our judges. All together there were nine who entered. Lori Brinnen won first place.
Later this month we will be dong a desert contest.
Oct. 5 was our Resident Council Meeting.
Oct. 7 the elementary school will be here to sing for our residents.
Our visitors this past week were Howard Stevenson; Gallatin First Baptist Church; friends and family of Evelyn Hockensmith, including Marcie Bird, Danny and Sue Warnes, Dean and Virginia King, Bill Estes, Miller and Junior Stephens and Laurie Walton; Marjorie Emerson visited Bea Kromiech; Susie Walton and Francie Toney visited Jeanette Putman.
