Funeral services for George Cook Jr. were held Monday, Sept. 21, at the Pilot Grove #1 Baptist Church, Gilman City, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home of Gilman City. Burial was in Pilot Grove #1 Cemetery.

George Moulin Cook, Jr., 89, Gilman City, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009.
He was born July 27, 1920, in Gallatin, the son of George Stewart and Isabell Francis (Moulin) Cook.
Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents; son, Marvin Cook; brothers, Ray and Charles Cook and sisters, Annus Logston, Pearl Moulin, Hazel Reed and Ada Roberts.
Survivors include a companion of 23 years, Barbara Rockhold, Marion, Kan.; one daughter, Mary Etta Clevenger, Trenton; and three grandchildren.
