The Missouri Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Missouri Highway Patrol Troop H, have announced the sequence and timing for the rolling road closures necessary to accommodate the bicyclists in this Saturday’s Tour of Missouri Race. The race will begin in Chillicothe at 1 p.m. Saturday and end in St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. (please note that weather and road conditions can impact travel, so all times are approximate).

The road closures will take place in seven sections. Active sections and cross streets will be closed to all traffic while bicyclists are racing and will re-open immediately once all racers have passed. Only two sections will be closed at any one time: The one where the race is happening, and the next section along the route.
