Colin is the son of Jim and Jeanette Williams of Columbia. Julie is a 2000 graduate of Gallatin High School and received her master of physical therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006. Julie is a physical therapist at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Colin is a 2000 graduate of Rockbridge High School in Columbia, and received his bachelor of architecture from Kansas State University in 2005. Colin is an architect at Simon Associates Incorporated in Columbia. Julie and Colin met in Columbia and have dated for four years. Colin proposed to Julie following a surprise hot air balloon ride on June 14, 2008. The couple is looking forward to their wedding on Oct. 24, 2009, at the Firestone-Baars Chapel in Columbia.
