Funeral services for Boneta Wagoner were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday), Sept. 9, at the First Baptist Church, Gilman City, under the direction of the Roberson Funeral Home, Gilman City. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery, Gilman City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Cemetery, Gilman City, in care of the Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 153, Gilman City, MO 64642.
Boneta M. Wagoner, 79, died Sept. 5, 2009.
Mrs. Wagoner was born July 28, 1930, in Gilman City, the daughter of Garnett and Irene (Sheperd) Marshall.
On March 20, 1977, she married Deward L. Wagoner in Trenton. He preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 1987.
Mrs. Wagoner had worked for the Veteran’s Administration and for the Moulin Gas Company.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gilman City.
Survivors include one sister, Mareta Rankin, Gilman City; two brothers, Dr. William Marshall and Eddie Marshall, both of Fayette; and several nieces and nephews.
