Gallatin Lady Bulldog golfers, from left to right: Sarah Smith, Mattie Burge, Ashley Huffman, Lauren Taylor and Breanne Brammer, have a pair of meets under their belts and one award from early competition.
Senior Sarah Smith shot a round of 45 on Tuesday to win the medalist award in dual competition with Lawson. Lauren Taylor shot 55 for Gallatin to finish third overall. Smith and Mattie Burge led Gallatin in action last Wednesday in a four-team meet at Stanberry, shooting 62 and 63, respectively.
GHS golfers compete in Maysville on Thursday and at Albany next Tuesday.
