Sylvie and Bevo Stitt took two weeks of vacation this year. The first week they went to the Black Hills and Yellowstone National Park and saw the Tetons in Jackson Hole, Wyo. This past week they returned from a week trip to South Missouri with their daughter Monique and her husband Brent Palmer and their children, Brently, Cloie and Chance. They went trout fishing on the Current River and stayed at Montauk State Park.
Scott and Angie Crowder and children Jared and Jenna from Centralia visited Lavena and Tommie Lowrey Monday of last week. They also visited Clyde and Mildred Hulet and family on Tuesday of last week.
Those visiting Woodrow and Maxine Morris were Bill and Cheryl Adams, Herb Luke, Forrest and Jeanna Morris and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Adams from New York state.
This week’s visitors of Letha Shipers were Alice Bell and David Shipers. One day Letha visited Lois Everly.
Paul and Sally Schweedler and granddaughter Courtney Schweedler left Thursday and went to St. Louis and attended the Cardinals baseball game on Friday and other activities and returned home Sunday evening.
Saturday Leroy and Janelle Mikes went to Cameron and had dinner with Scott and Shari Klindt and family.
David and Jessica Barnett visited Butch and Evelyn Bayne Sunday afternoon.
Jim and Virginia Hooten went Sunday to Kansas City to see their twin great-granddaughters Aubrey Ellen and Kendall Marie Cole. They were born Friday, Aug. 14.
Sunday visitors of Martha Huff were Brian and Melissa Thompson and family, Renee and Matt Huff and family, and Rick Huff.
James Walker, Tyke, Champ Walker and Conner Mayhen of Leon, Iowa, spent Tuesday and Wednesday with Mildred and Paula Walker. Also one evening last week Tasha Tucker, Keria and Mike of Bethany visited Mildred Walker.
