Hello. We would like to start by telling everyone about the events over the last two weeks. Aug. 15 was clown day. We made snow cones, popped pop corn and served chocolate chip cookies for our residents. The staff dressed like clowns.
Aug. 7 was motorcyclists day. Pastor Russ, Dave Schlegel and I rode our motorcycles in that day for the residents to see and we served cookies and lemonade.
Aug. 11 the residents built marshmallow towers and Susie Tull judged in the afternoon on the best one. Bea Kromeich and Eula Osborn won.
Aug. 25 is the 70th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz and our residents meal of the month.
Aug. 27 is the residents’ monthly birthday party and Aug. 31 we will be having a Hawaiian luau for our residents.
We are offering a training session for area health care workers at the Daviess County library on Aug. 27.
We are also currently taking reservations for the special care unit that will be opening soon.
