The baseball coaching staff of North Central Missouri College, the American Legion coaching staff, and others are combining efforts to provide two special baseball events in Trenton on July 30 and Aug. 4.

These two events are for baseball players ages 14 through 18 (players who would be eligible to compete in an 18-and-under team in the summer of 2010). Players who are uncertain if they meet the age criteria are urged to come to the events, which will be held at Burleigh Grimes Field in Trenton.
The activities will consist of warm-up, infield/outfield practice, batting practice and "game-like, live activity" with the intent of identifying players who may have interest in participating on a competitive team(s) based in Trenton, beginning next summer.
Registration will begin at noon each day, and the workout will last until approximately 4 p.m. Players can attend either or both sessions.
Those interested are encouraged to contact NCMC baseball coach Donnie Hillerman via email at [email protected] prior to July 30; however, walk-ups will be accepted. Players should complete a participation waiver form, which will require the signature of a parent/guardian. These forms may be requested and sent by mail.
