Funeral services for Lynn Curtis will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Robert Kimberling Gymnasium, Jamesport. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, McWilliams Funeral Home, Jamesport, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery, Jamesport. Memorials may be made to Jamesport Fire and Rescue in care of the funeral home.

Lynn Curtis, 39, died Monday, July 13, at North Kansas City Hospital.

Ms. Curtis was born Nov. 8, 1969, to Robert Glenn and Mary (McAllister) Curtis in Trenton. She lived all of her life in the Jamesport area where she graduated from the Jamesport High School in 1988. After graduation she attended Trenton Junior College.
Ms. Curtis was employed at the Parton Hardware in Jamesport for 21 years.

She was a member of Jamesport Fire and Rescue for 20 years, where she served on the board and as secretary to the board for many years. She was also a Jamesport First Responder for seven years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Glen Curtis Jr.

Survivors: brothers Bobbie Curtis and John Hobbs, both of Jamesport; nieces, DeAnna, Shelly, Jaimie, and Jenny; nephews, Johnathan, Scott, and Chris.
