Funeral services for Betty Walters were held Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the First Christian Church in Plattsburg. Interment was at Green Lawn Cemetery, Plattsburg. Arrangements were by Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service, Plattsburg. The family suggests memorial gifts to the First Christian Church Kitchen.

Betty Frost Walters, 86, Plattsburg, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
Born Sept. 5, 1922, in Plattsburg, she was a lifelong resident of Plattsburg.
During World War II she served in the United States Navy.
On Sept. 6, 1944, she married James E. Walters, who preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1995.
Mrs. Walters was a tax preparer, and the owner of Walters Tax Service.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Plattsburg, Plattsburg Chamber of Commerce, Par-Tee Club, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Robert H. and Mary Lorraine (Ray) Frost; her brother, Robert H. Frost, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Ann Bonderer, Gallatin, and Lorraine "Lori" Ray Colvin, Osborn; one brother, Lewis Fitzhugh Frost; one sister, Shirley Ann Stoll; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
