The elections took place during the 64th State 4-H Congress, June 3-5, at the University of Missouri. She was among more than 320 young people who attended the MU Extension event. Council members represent the 25,806 club members in Missouri. The council also is responsible for the coordination of two major youth leadership conferences each year. Teen Conference, an event for 12- and 13-year-olds, takes place in February, and State 4-H Congress, a conference for teens 14-18, meets in June. Missouri State 4-H Council members have a major role in all statewide Missouri 4-H and Lincoln University youth events, including the Missouri State Fair in August. Danielle is a junior at Gallatin High School and an active member of the Knee-Hi 4-H Club.
