Pattonsburg’s Travis Lowrey scored 14 points to help lead the Black boys team to a victory over the Purple in the championship game of the Lions District 26-M4 All-Star Basketball Classic held at the Ketcham Center in Trenton on Saturday.

Lowrey’s team won both its games on Saturday, including the title victory over Gallatin grad Kale Hefley’s Purple team. Hefley scored two points in the loss and four points in an earlier victory over the Gold team.
Gallatin’s Courtney Ray totaled 10 points in her Purple team’s win in the girls championship game, defeating former teammate Wren Tolen, a member of the Black runnerup squad. Tolen scored nine points in the title game, and totaled 13 points in two games played on Saturday. Ray also scored four points in an earlier win by the Purple squad.
Jaclyn Ray of North Daviess led her Gold team with 11 points in a first-round loss. Pattonsburg’s Becca Bowland, Winston’s Rachel Michael (two pts.) and Tri-County’s Bailey Huston (four pts.) were also members of the Gold squad. Pattonsburg’s deJong was a White team member that suffered a first-round loss.
Tri-County’s Gib Wray scored two points in his Gold team’s opening loss of the day.
