The Gallatin FFA Chapter sent six members to Camp Rising Sun in the Lake of the Ozarks. The first week of June is also the first week of camp.

Activities included leadership sessions lead by representatives of the Missouri Department of Conservation, MFA Oil, MFA Inc., Missouri Department of Secondary and Elementary Education, Department of Natural Resources, State FFA Offices, Missouri Beef Industry Council, Missouri Farm Bureau, and the University of Missouri. Other activities included water disking, skiing, canoeing, archery, boating, and other recreational pastimes.

The Gallatin chapter was well represented with the following results: Leta Eaton was all around camper and received the only state leadership award from Gallatin; Riley Vanatta, Jordan Jeffers and Garrett McNeely were members of the first place volleyball, and second place basketball teams.; John Macy qualified in boating safety; Breanne Brammer placed second in extemporaneous and impromptu speaking.
