The Porters formerly resided in the Kidder area from the late 60’s to the mid 80’s, farming in the area. They returned to Liberty in the mid 80’s where they currently reside. Marvin Porter and his children; Staff Sgt. Aaron Porter and wife Courtney of Guam, Shellie Porter of Bloomsburg, Pa., and Larissa and Brandon of the home, are having an open house reception from 4-7 p.m. on May 30 at the 2nd Baptist Church, 309 E. Franklin in Liberty. All family, friends, and acquaintance’s are invited to attend and celebrate this very special occasion with Ross and Dorothy. Please come by and say hello.
