Cpl. Gardner promoted, started at Gallatin

Captain Duane L. Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, announces a promotion.

Zone 5 encompasses Andrew and Buchanan counties. Prior to his promotion, Gardner had been assigned to the Patrol’s commercial vehicle enforcement team in Troop H. He began his career with the Patrol in 1998 at Gallatin. In 2003 he transferred to Zone 5 in St. Joseph and remained there until his CVET assignment in 2008. Gardner is a native of St. Joseph and is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Missouri Western State University. Sergeant Gardner is married to the former Toni Dudik, also of St. Joseph.
