The Gallatin High School Academic Team has had a very successful season. The team won district and sectional competition to advance to state competition on May 8 at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Those that will be competing are Cameron King, Ethan Walton, Monica Hanson, Michael Youd, and Dillon Axton. Cameron was voted unanimous All-Conference First Team, and Phillip Arnold was voted to the All Conference Second Team. At the district meet Cameron was the highest scorer and made All District Team. Michael Youd also qualified for the All District Team. The team has an overall win/loss record of 13-3. The team is coached by Glenda St. John.
