Casual graveside service and interment for Ronald Gastineau will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Lake Viking Cemetery, Gallatin. Visitation is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. Friends may call after 1 p.m. today (Tuesday). Memorials may be made to Fishing Derby Day for Kids at the Hamilton Reservoir or to the Hamilton High School football program.

Ronald "Ron" D. Gastineau, 68, Hamilton, formerly of St. Joseph and Lake Viking, Gallatin, died at Cameron Regional Medical Center on April 13, 2009.
Born Feb. 16, 1941, in Hamilton, to Libby and Naomi Kelley Gastineau, he was a 1960 Hamilton High School graduate and had attended CMSU-Warrensburg for one year.

Mr. Gastineau had worked for 7-UP Bottling Co. in St. Joseph and Coca Cola Foods in Kansas City as an area supervisor and regional rep. He had also worked as chief of security at Lake Viking and had formerly owned and operated with is wife the Coffee Cup Café in Gallatin.
He was a member of MSHAA and had officiated football games for many years, 4-H and FFA, the Lake Viking Lions, and the Wesley Chapel Church, Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
On Jan. 23, 1960, he married Elaine Hill in Hamilton. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include one son, Terry Gastineau, Lathrop; one daughter, Tammy Gastineau, Spokane, Wash.; one sister, Judy; and two grandchildren.
