Pattonsburg students receive superior rating at contest

The following Pattonsburg R-2 students received a superior rating (1) at District Music Contest on Saturday, March 28, and will now compete at State Music Contest in May:

Ashley Cameron, clarinet solo; Rachel Hopkins, snare drum solo; and the Pattonsburg Percussion Ensemble of Rachel Hopkins, Katie Bell, Ashley Cameron, Haley Olson and Stacia Harmon.
The following soloists received an excellent rating (II) at the contest: Travis Lowrey, Becca Bowland, Justin Conover and Jasmine Swearingin.
