"We sincerely thank Mr. Gann for his service to our fraternity," said Ronald D. Miller, grand secretary. "We know his years of membership have been a source of knowledge, experience and strength to his lodge."

The Grand Lodge of Missouri has been in existence for 185 years. Few organizations have achieved that longevity.

"Mr. Gann’s 50 years is a milestone in his life and our fraternity," said Mr. Miller. "We are pleased that he has continued his membership in his lodge."

The main goal of the fraternity has not changed over the years, Mr. Miller said. The fraternity strives to take good men as members and bring out their intellectual capabilities and direct those facilities toward service in their communities.
