The vehicle immediately turned southbound through the median and accelerated to 94 miles per hour. A pursuit lasting seven minutes was initiated. During the pursuit, it was determined that the vehicle was stolen from Denton, Texas. The pursuit ended when the driver of the vehicle turned onto Missouri Highway 6 and crashed into a ditch, just east of Interstate 35.

The driver was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. He was identified as Jason Warren, age 27, of Arkansas. Warren was arrested on a felony armed robbery warrant from Texas and a parole violation from Arkansas. He is also charged with felony tampering, felony fleeing and numerous traffic violations. The subject is currently incarcerated in the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.

The charges for which Warren has been arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
