Funeral services for Robert Swartz were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Winston Baptist Church. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, McFall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.

Robert Lee Swartz, 80, Winston, died March 1, 2009.
Mr. Swartz was born on April 9, 1928, in New Hampton, to Jack Smith and Josie Taylor.
He worked for 30 years at Ford Motor Company before retiring.
Mr. Swartz was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Naomi Hefley Swartz; his parents; two brothers, E.C. Smith and Wayne Buzzard; and grandparents who raised him, Charles and Mary Swartz.
Survivors include one son, Donnie Swartz, Chillicothe; one daughter, Donita Asher, Winston; one nephew that he raised, Gerald McCaslin, Winston; four brothers, Larry Buzzard, Jimmy Buzzard, Doc Smith and Joe Smith; five sisters, Lucille McClure, Mary Lewis, Doris Neimann, Doris Clemons and Phyllis Law; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
