Terry L. Bauer, 42, of rural Osborn was fatally injured in a farming accident that occurred on Feb. 16, in DeKalb County.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, ambulance, Stewartsville Fire Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Missouri Department of Conservation responded to a call received at about 1:09 p.m. in regards to a man caught in a post hole digger power take-off shaft.
Mr. Bauer was pronounced dead at the scene by DeKalb County Coroner Heath Turner.
Mr. Bauer was the son of George R. and Judith (Lucas) Bauer of Kidder. His obituary appears in this week’s paper.
