Steve Reid gave an update on the repairs to the south well during the regular meeting of the Gallatin Board of Aldermen held Feb. 23.

The company doing the repairs is hoping to have the well operating by Thursday of this week.

Public comments were made regarding a road tube installed on East Richardson; electric rates; and the new water plant project.

Teddy Holcomb gave an update on the projects the city crews have completed in the last two weeks.

Bills in the amount of $17,951.02 were approved for payment.

During new business, City Administrator Zac Johnson discussed the 2009 proposed street projects.

The board entered into closed session pursuant to legal action and litigation.

Police chief Mark Richards was absent.
