Phillip Lykins, 44, McFall, received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at about 7:15 a.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 25) in Gentry County.

According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mr. Lykins was northbound on Route P, seven miles southeast of Albany. His 1986 Ford Ranger traveled off the east side of Route P, skidded and overturned once on to its top, ejecting the driver. The vehicle came to rest on its top in a ditch facing west.
Mr. Lykins, who was not wearing his seat belt, was taken by Grand River Ambulance Service to Northwest Medical Center in Albany.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.M. Cross, assisted by the Gentry County Sheriff’s Department, Grand River Ambulance and EMS personnel.
A Gilman City man received minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at about 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, in Melbourne, Harrison County, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident happened when Chad Cole, 24, Gilman City, was southbound on County Road 337, and Aaron Hale, 26, Gilman City, was eastbound on County Road 395. As Mr. Hale entered the intersection, Mr. Cole failed to yield his 1997 Ford Ranger and struck Mr. Hale’s 1993 Ford Tempo in the driver’s side. Both vehicles came to rest upright off the east side of the intersection.
Mr. Hale was transported to Harrison County Community Hospital by private vehicle. Both men were wearing their seat belts.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. B. Hilliard, assisted by Sgt. J. Rongey and Tpr. T. Heintz.
Elias Munoz, 24, Milan, received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened on Hwy. 6, about two miles east of Jamesport in Daviess County, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at about 6 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, as Mr. Munoz was eastbound on Hwy. 6 when he fell asleep. His 1998 Nissan crossed into the westbound side and went off the north side of the roadway. The vehicle then went down an embankment and struck a drain culvert.
Mr. Munoz was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton by Daviess County Ambulance Service. He was wearing his seat belt.
The accident was investigated by Sgt. M.A. Ott.
An Amazonia man received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at about 4:25 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, in Daviess County, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Steven Simpson, 22, was southbound on Hwy. 69 two miles south of Pattonsburg. He ran off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected, and returned the vehicle to the roadway and ran off the left side. The 1998 Ford went down an embankment, overturned, and came to rest on its wheels facing north off the east side of the roadway.
Mr. Simpson, who was wearing his seat belt, was taken by NTA Ambulance Service to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.
