The program took place at a St. Louis agribusiness firm Jan. 4-9.

This program, created in 1983 by John E. Brown, gives 16 qualified students the opportunity to integrate classroom knowledge with the realities of the business environment. The students work with a host firm and participate in evening lectures or seminars, and learn how agribusiness professionals conduct business.

A 2006 graduate of Gallatin R-5, Katie is the daughter of Terry and Mary Jarboe and a junior majoring in agricultural economics with an emphasis on public policy. She serves as the president of the Agriculture Economics Club and vice-president of the Mizzou Collegiate Farm Bureau. Jarboe currently works for the Missouri Farm Service Agency and the University of Missouri Agricultural Economics Department.
