A Kidder child received minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident at about 4:20 p.m. on Jan. 27 in Caldwell County.

According to the highway patrol, a vehicle driven by Lacey Coleman, 17, Hamilton, was traveling westbound on Hwy. 36. A second vehicle driven by Kirby Brelsford, 49, Polo, was stopped at the intersection at Route J and Hwy. 36. A third vehicle, driven by Ashley Catron, 23, Kidder, was in the crossover northbound, crossing Hwy. 36. The Catron vehicle pulled into the path of the Coleman vehicle and was struck in the right rear quarter panel. The Catron vehicle slid into the Brelsford vehicle.
The Catron vehicle came to rest on the north side of westbound Hwy. 36. The Coleman vehicle came to rest on the south side of westbound Hwy. 36, partially in the median. The Brelsford vehicle was moved prior to officer’s arrive.
Rachel Gehrs, 3, who was in a safety device in the Catron vehicle, was taken to Children’s Mercy by Cameron EMS.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.R. Johnston, assisted by Cpl. J.P. Angle, Tpr. J.R. Zach, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department and Cameron Emergency Medical Services.
A Pattonsburg man was injured in an accident on Hwy. 69, according to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol. The one-vehicle accident happened at about 6:20 p.m. on Jan. 23.
Joshua Knowles, 27, was southbound on Hwy. 69 about three miles south of Pattonsburg when he lost control of his 1992 Chevrolet pickup on the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the roadway and down an embankment. The pickup overturned, ejecting the driver, before coming to rest on its wheels in a field.
Mr. Knowles, who was not wearing his seat belt, received minor injuries and was taken by NTA Ambulance to Harrison County Hospital in Bethany.
The pickup was totaled.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J. Lynch, assisted by Cpl. J. Rongey.
The patrol reported an accident on Jan. 25, at about 10:05 a.m. in Daviess County, one mile west of Altamont on Hwy. 6.
Jackie Sullivan, 51, Trenton, was eastbound in a 2005 Chevrolet when her vehicle slid on the snow-covered roadway. It traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and traveled back across the roadway. The vehicle struck a ditch north of Hwy. 6 where it came to rest upright.
Ms. Sullivan, who was wearing her seat belt, received minor injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital by Daviess County Ambulance.
The vehicle received minor damage.
