According to Gallatin city hall, those filing for eastward aldermen are Kenneth King and incumbent Robert Snidow. Vying for westward aldermen are Kay Nelson and Ed Nixon. Barb Ballew has re-filed for mayor and Carla Arnold has also signed up for mayor.
Candidates filing for area school boards are: Gallatin R-5 — Ray Clevenger; Trent Dowell; and Jesse Bird. Terms ended for Vicki Corwin and Mike Ward; Winston R-6 — Alan Rhoades; Julie Clark; Alan Ward; Alisa Piburn; and Tanya Farrell. Terms ended for Chretta Mastin and Alan Ward; Pattonsburg R-2 — Tracy Parton and Patty Hartley. Both are incumbents. Ms. Parton was selected to fill in a position vacated by a former board member; Tri-County R-7 at Jamesport — Stephanie Eckert; Heath Cook; Luke Skinner; and David Bequette. Terms ended for Stephanie Eckert and Ron Ledesma; North Daviess R-3 — Jessica Malott; Chris Nelson; Lee Courter; and Debbie Ray. Terms ended for Debbie Ray and Doug Baker.
