Funeral services for Max Daniel were held Dec. 27 at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Burial was at Osborn Evergreen Cemetery, Osborn. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Max Eddie Daniel, Sr., 68, Cameron, died on Dec. 22, 2008.
Mr. Daniel was born Aug. 12, 1940, in Pattonsburg, to Walter Everett and Mary Lou (Hooper) Daniel.
He was a graduate of Pattonsburg High School and a member of the Osborn Baptist Church.
Mr. Daniel farmed and had a dairy farm for many years in the Cameron area.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gene and John R. Daniel; and two infant brothers, and daughter, Mary Ellen.
On June 11, 1960, in Jameson, he married Mary Kathleen (Prudden) O’Neill; she survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Tom Daniel, Cameron, and Eddie Daniel, Cameron; one daughter, Melanie Neal, Cameron; one sister, Helen Plymell, Roach; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-granddaughters, Shelby and Trina Neal, of the home; numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
