It is known that the water came through the fire suppressant system. The leak was discovered shortly after the line broke in the afternoon of Dec. 18, by a member of the church who was going to work in the building.
Mr. Christensen reported that several thousands of gallons of water were pushed out of the building with squeegees and approximately two to three thousand gallons was taken up by water extracting equipment.
The cleanup and dry out was lead by Expert Service Solutions out of Cameron along with members of the church. Mr. Christensen said he didn’t know what the cost of repairs would be at this time. The water was removed and the building dried out in time for services to be held there this Sunday. There was some sheet rock damage, but it should not disrupt the use of the building.
