Dallas Eugene Lowrey, 33, of Lawson, Mo., died at his home on Dec. 6, 2008. A service was held Tuesday, Dec. 9 at the Fry Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo. Dallas was born on Dec. 21, 1974 in El Dorado Springs, Mo., the son of the late Bobby Lynn and Sherry (Marshall) Lowrey, of Cape Girardeau, Mo. Dallas graduated from Kearney High School in 1993. He graduated with honors, he received the Bright Flight scholarship, and he had the highest ACT score in Kearney history. He attended Rolla University for two years. He continued his education and earned an Industrial Maintenance certificate.

Dallas married Diane Hoffman on Sept. 14, 1996 at Holt, Mo. He worked for GE Electric Co., in Chicago, Ill., for five years. He returned to Missouri and worked for Interior Automotive at Excelsior Springs as a supervisor.

Dallas was a kind and loving man. He was dedicated to his family and friends. His many friends looked up to him for his guidance. Dallas enjoyed life, was a hard worker, and loved being with his wife and children. He enjoyed the outdoors and rode his motorcycle to Sturgis, S.D., every year.

His grandmother, Evalee Lowrey and grandfather Max Eugene Marshall preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Diane, one daughter Dallas Nicole; one son Triton Maverick; one brother Robert Duanne Lowrey of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister Roxanna Draves of Chester, Ill.; grandparents Dale and Mary Frazier of Weatherby, Mo., and Dallas (Jack) Lowrey of Pattonsburg, Mo.
