Funeral services for Mark Bridges were held Saturday at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany, with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany.

Mark A. Bridges, Albany, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008.
Mr. Bridges, the son of Marvin and Lydia (Long) Bridges, was born Aug. 10, 1960, in Princeton.
Mr. Bridges was branch president of BTC Bank in Albany and began his career at Albany’s Gentry County Bank.

He had served as a volunteer firefighter, past president of Rotary Club, past president of the Albany Chamber of Commerce, president of Eastridge Apartments Inc., president of the Grand River Regional Ambulance District, treasurer of the Albany Booster Club, Albany Little League Baseball, Good Neighbor Fund and Boy Scout Troop No. 102.

His parents raised him in a Christian life, which he has always continued and to which he publicly rededicated himself on June 23, 2008, at the Albany Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by stepson, Ryan Doolittle; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; and daughter, Katelyn of the home; family members, Jon, Jeni, Sara, Nate and Noah Doolittle of Kansas City; and Bradford Doolittle of Kansas City; and parents, Marvin and Lydia Bridges of Albany.
