Pattonsburg First Baptist Church collected 952 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child through the Samaritan’s Purse organization.

Pattonsburg First Baptist is the relay center within a 45 minute radius for collecting from area churches. The shoe boxes went from the Pattonsburg Church to Word of Life Church in St. Joseph, then to Boone, N.C., and from there to needy children throughout the world who would otherwise not get a Christmas gift. The whole church congregation at Pattonsburg First Baptist helped with the collection, including Elanor Best and Jeremiah Bradford, pastor.
