Jesse Reynolds of Gallatin recently helped celebrate the birthday of his second great-great-grandson, Sean Isaac Reynolds. The family took advantage of the opportunity to capture both "legs" of the five generations in their family. Sean’s father, Daniel, was home on leave from his second tour in Iraq. Shown in the photo, left to right, are, front row, birthday boy, Sean Isaac Reynolds, one-year-old, of Ft. Sill, Okla; his cousin and his grandfather’s namesake, Jesse Afton Reynolds, three-years-old, of Platte City; second row, Spc. 1st Class, Daniel Reynolds, 24, Ft. Sill, and David Reynolds, 27, Platte City; back row, Mark Reynolds, Kansas City, Jesse Reynolds, Gallatin, and Ron Reynolds, Platte City. Sean Isaac and Jesse Afton also share in another "leg" of five generations through their great-grandmother Janice Reynolds and her mother, Maxine Schmitt of Maryville. Maxine formerly resided in Gallatin with her late husband, Afton Schmitt.
