The Pattonsburg FFA Chapter hosted their annual Barnwarming dance on Nov. 7 following the Blood Drive.

FFA members and their dates participated in a pie eating contest, apple cider chugging contest, a hay bale toss, and the red ear of corn. Seventh graders Ethan Teel, Heather Booth, Sean Davis, and Carly Cornett were officially initiated into FFA that night as well.

David Stitt won the pie eating contest with his caramel apple pie. Matthew Rouner won the boys’ hay bale toss and Stacia Harmon won the girls’. Rhiannon Riley and Josh Curtis won the red ear of corn and the senior class, Becca Bowland, Tiffany deJong, Caroline Hulet, Nick Roberts, Jordan Talbert, and Mariah Wood, won the apple cider chugging contest.

The final event of the evening was the presentation of Barnwarming King and Queen. Our reigning king is David Stitt and our queen is Mariah Wood. The Pattonsburg FFA chapter raised over $300 from the penny-a-vote and door collection.
