A mother and daughter received minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. on Rt. NN, three miles west of Jamesport in Daviess County.

According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Janelle Raymo, 34, Galt, was southbound driving a 1985 Mercury and Kent Critten, 38, Gallatin, was westbound driving a 2001 Chevrolet. Mrs. Raymo attempted a left turn and Mr. Critten struck her car in the driver’s door. Both vehicles came to rest off the south side of the roadway.
Mrs. Raymo and her daughter, Joslyn Newton, 10, were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton by Daviess County Ambulance Service. Joslyn was wearing a seat belt, but her mother was not.
Both vehicles were moderately damaged.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.P. Lynch, assisted by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
