Mr. Ellis, a farmer, retired as a welder.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice; one son, Rickey; three daughters, Donna Cooper, Anna Switzer and Pam Cochran; two brothers, Carl and James; one sister, Mary Jines; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Junior Ellis will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial will be at Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday), at the funeral home.
