Ray and Karen Kuykendall attended an eight day church conference at Branson, returning home October 21. They met several friends and family from several states. Around 1,500 folks were in attendance with lots of good sermons and singing.
Danny Mason visited his mother Beverly Mason on Saturday.
Tuesday the Baptist Church ladies made their monthly visit to the Lake Viking Health Care Center. Elanor Best and Mildred Huff were the ones taking the homemade cookies to the residents.
Saturday visitors of Curly and Arlene Gardner were Debbie and Brandon Fannon, Jessie, Ethan, Becka, and Jake Vielinksi of Maysville. They came to join in with the hay ride and to spook grandma. They stayed all night. Sunday morning Theresa Parmenter and Tristen Giles came and visited them all.
Andy Bell, St. Louis, visited grandma Donna Bell Sunday afternoon.
Bob and Susie Cochran, Sumter, S.C., visited Dolores Cameron. Saturday they were joined at the local café by Don and Judy Fore, John and Rosanna Parmenter, Josh and Brett, a friend Lorrie from Iowa, Bob and Susie and Dolores.
Sunday visitors of Julia Cornett were Bonnie and Richard Walker, Ronnie, Larry and Dan Cornett, Tanner Teel, Lincoln and Carly Cornett, Carrie and Jayden McKinney.
Visitors this week with Carl and Norma Crone were Kenneth and Evelyn Dilley and Donna Hibbs. Sunday night Carla and Norma attended a birthday party at Roger and Tracy Crone’s for their daughter Caitlin’s birthday.
Thursday, Oct.16, Donna Hibbs and daughter Mary Lou Brendt, Kearney, flew to San Diego, Calif., also Cheryl Minyard and Cody and Blake, Colorado Springs, flew to San Diego, landing within three hours of each other’s flight. They toured the area, returning home on Sunday, Oct. 19.
Sunday dinner guests of Martha Huff were Brian and Melissa and sons Eli, Abe and Wyatt, Matt and Renee Huff, Landon, Lacy and Perry, Gary and friend Rhonda and Rick Huff.
Letha Shipers returned home from Bob and Glenetta Taylor’s, Independence, where she had been since October 13. Got home Oct. 23. Had been to her eye doctor.
Woodrow and Maxine Morris returned home Friday from a trip to Tennessee visiting Charley and Betty Eastwood, Buddy and Jannette Pinson and daughter Nachel and family. Saturday Forrest and Jeanna Morris and Herb Luke visited the Morrises. Sunday Bill and Cheryl Adams and Dorlene Munn were dinner guests.
Saturday evening visitors of Mildred Huff were Marvin and Nancy Hancock from Williamson, Iowa.
