The North Daviess R-3 Team is composed of six members, seniors Jackie Bartz and Jaclyn Ray; juniors Jared Hogan and Frank Marshall; and sophomores Grant Hartley and Jeannette Loftin.
Frank Marshall joins Panthers
North Daviess is playing softball with the Pattonsburg Panthers for the 2008 season. Frank Marshall, a junior, has chosen to join the team. North Daviess coach Daniel Street will also be an addition to the team.
Student essays published
Five current and former North Daviess students will have essays published in an anthology from Current Communications. Chasity Billingsley, Kayla Jincks, and Breanna Jones, who are ninth graders, and Brandon Lewis and Anna Morris, who are eighth graders completed the essays as part of an assignment in last year’s junior high reading class. The topic for the essay was "My Pet." The school will receive a copy of the anthology for the library.
