The Gallatin FFA Chapter sent their livestock judging team to Northwest Missouri State University for the annual fall judging contest on Oct. 9.

The livestock team consisted of Kyle Croy, Casey Alden and Ryan Chadwick. The team scored 1,564 points, to put Gallatin second over all. The first place team was Iowa’s national qualifying team for the 2008 contest in Indianapolis. Over all there were 69 teams and 210 individuals who competed in the livestock contest. Individually, Kyle Croy had 547 points, putting him in third; Casey Alden had 532 points, putting him in fourth; and Ryan Chadwick had 485 points, putting him in fifteenth.
