Funeral services for Herbert Findley were held Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial was in White Oak Cemetery, Bethany. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the White Oak Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, Mo., 64424.

Herbert Lee Findley, 81, Bethany, died Sept. 11, 2008.

On July 31, 1949, he married Lois Sheughnessy. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vernon "Fat" Findley and Royce Dean "Cheap" Findley; and sister, Leona Faye.

Other survivors include sons, Jerry Findley, Albany, and Rick (Judy) Findley, New Hampton; brother, Billie Joe Findley, Bethany; sister, Alois Johnson, Gilman City; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
