The ChildPrint ID Kit® assists parents in easily creating a private and extremely comprehensive record of their child’s personal and medical information, for use in an emergency. When a child is missing, the first few hours are crucial to recovery. During this very emotional time, parents often search for current photos and cannot always remember their child’s most basic characteristics. ChildPrint® enables parents to immediately give police a complete and accurate description, saving precious time, and hastening the search. In addition, ChildPrint® includes two pages of important safety tips, because education is essential to helping kids avoid dangerous situations.

Each kit includes: a 1" x 5" non-toxic fingerprinting ink strip; a freezer-safe DNA hair sample storage baggie; A pair of Safe Shoes Child ID label; space to record contact, personal, medical, and physical information; space to store a 4" x 6" photograph; a 10-finger fingerprint chart; dental charts for permanent and baby teeth; two pages of valuable safety tips; wet-wipe towelette to clean fingers after fingerprinting (standard kit).

Because Rotary is a service-oriented organization, the Gallatin club is very excited to be able to offer these packets free. Julia Filley, service committee chair says, "Our members are committed to giving back to our community in a way that makes an impact. That is why we have selected to distribute these packets to people in our community as one of our service projects."
