Daviess County Health Department will offer cholesterol screenings at the center from 8:45-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18. Don’t have anything to eat after midnight on the night prior to the test. Cost is $7. Blood pressures will also be offered.
Martha Steger, program service manager, will have a meeting at Daviess County Library Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16. The agenda includes Red Cross Programs by Ralph Dishong.
Pattonsburg Center will be starting a donation of the month program. For the month of September the center will be asking for a small bottle of salad dressing.
Remember cards and dominoes are every Friday evening.
Menus Sept. 8-12
Monday: ham, baked potato, coleslaw, cobbler; Tuesday: chicken, potatoes and gravy, green beans, fruit; Wednesday: lasagna, lettuce salad, juice, garlic bread, cook’s choice dessert; Thursday: chili dogs, lettuce salad, bun, ice cream; Friday: roast beef, potatoes, gravy, broccoli, hot bread, fruit.
