Joseph W. Young, 86, died Aug. 10, 2008.
Mr. Young was born May 31, 1922, to Guy and Velma Young, Pattonsburg. He had lived several years in Arizona.
Mr. Young was a WWII Navy veteran and a Coffey Missouri Highway Department employee.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cecilia; his first wife, Ada Jo; and his second wife, Sylvia (Eads).
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Ogan of Springfield; one son, Joseph G. Young of Palm Springs, Calif.; one sister, Geraldine Desseux of Kansas City; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
