Product of the month for Sept. is flour. Louise Taylor was the winner of the August drawing for Product of the month.
Health Department will be here at 11 a.m. on Sept. 24 for a session on PEPPI (Peer Exercise Program Promotes Independence). This program helps improve balance, mobility and decreases the risk of falls. Please plan to come.
Game Night is from 4-7 p.m. every Thursday.
For eligible clients there is no charge for our nutrition program meals. Contributions toward the cost of the meals are greatly appreciated and encouraged. Effective Sept. 1, 2008, suggested contribution per meal is $3. Actual cost per meal is $5.50.
Menus Sept. 8-12
Monday: loaded baked potato, coleslaw, tomatoes, fruit crisp; Tuesday: hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, broccoli, sherbet; Wednesday: BBQ hamburgers, baked beans, salad, ice cream; Thursday: chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, fruit; Friday: spaghetti, lettuce, juice, garlic bread.
